The two public consultations are, the ScotGov consultation and Claudia Beamish’s members bill.
For Scotland, these two consultations can hopefully remove, for good, the dirtiest example of a Ponzi scheme ever dreamt of.

Please read Trish Buchan’s overview of why we should respond to both.
It is imperative that we support Claudia Beamishs members bill as well as the ScotGov consultation.
When we elected our SNP Mps thousands of people demanded to know their stance on fracking.
We were led to believe that our candidates were ALL anti fracking.
Today this report says differently.
It should be noted that the SNP (if they actually ban at all) intend to do it through the planning system and will (IF they intend to ban) announce their decision at the end of this year.
Beamish’s private members bill is to ban ( no ifs or buts) by enshrining a prohibition in law using climate change targets.
If it goes through it will be announced next year.
Please note that submissions for Claudias consultation must be in by 17th February.
It is our plan b should the SNP fail to facilitate a ban.
By participating in both consultations we have the ability to skin this cat on multiple levels.
SNP members /voters, please don’t look at participating in Claudias bill as a betrayal.
Should her legislation prove necessary it will be us who have been betrayed by the SNP, not the other way round.
